About Us
In 1908, the shelves of Kansas City Stationery were filled with fountain pens and hand-stamped ledger books. We still have some artifacts from that time. But...
Don't let our name fool you!
When the Robert J. Marshall family purchased the business in 1964, we began to introduce office furniture. We kept our historical name. The office supply business was taken over by another longtime Kansas City company, Kansas City Business Supply, also owned by a member of the Marshall family.
This allowed the Kansas City Stationery Company to evolve into a full-service office furniture dealership, featuring Teknion & Kimball, among other high quality lines.

Located in the historic Union Hills Complex, our building is a part of Kansas City history. In this picture, taken June 19th, 1957, the Kaufman Window Shade Co. occupied the same structure we are proud to be in today.

In this photo, taken in 2000, our turreted building still stands nearly unchanged by time. It remains as a constant symbol of the past in our ever shifting city.
